So, we went to Austin this weekend to see my sister-in-law get married at our Aunt & Uncle's house on Lake Travis. Anyone who knows Marc and I know that any time we get to get out of Dallas this is usually where we high-tail it too. We always love getting away and going to Austin!! This weekend was no exception since it was for a great celebration. Jen & Dirk were married yesterday at 1p and it was very short but very sweet. Of course, Avery felt the need to "speak up or forever hold her peace" all during the ceremony but it was fine. She was in rare form all weekend and did nothing but cry if anyone tried to pry her out of my hands. She is in an exreme form of "MOMMY ONLY" right now but probably doesn't help that she now has 6 teeth coming in (that is 12 total) and had a little bit of a cold. But, she got to meet her Great Grandmother and Great Uncle (Marc's Dads Mom and brother) for the very first time and that meant a lot to Marc. We did have some rain, but when you get our group together it usually takes a lot more than a little rain to break our spirits!! Needless to say, the weekend was wonderful and we are so happy to have Dirk as the newest member!! You are now a part of the madness!!! Congradulations again!!!!
