My 33rd Birthday

So my 33rd b-day is officially over and I wasn't really excited about it to begin with. The evening started with our usual dining spot (Mi Cocina) where we sat on the patio. The weather was amazing and Marc and I both agreed that we have never experienced the weather at a cool 78 degrees in July before. Once we left there, Marc decided to treat his girls to Pachuga's (italian ice cream) as a little b-day treat. We were sitting outside enjoying our dessert when Avery decided she had had enough and wanted down. She went to the window and was eyeing a little boy who was inside. He all of a sudden came to the window and the 2 of them proceeded to gawk and flirt with each other. After some serious persistence, the little boy's Mom finally let him out the door and then he ran over to Avery and gave her a big kiss (he is 20 months old so yes, my little girl really digs the older men)!! It was so cute and probably the only time that her Daddy would agree! The two of them just laughed and played until his parents made him leave which he was not happy about. He was the cutest red haired boy with beautiful blue eyes! I think that they had that whole "red-haired" bond going on! After that, we came home and wrestled around on the floor where Avery has learned how to body slam us!! It turned out to be a really great birthday especially since we don't get these family nights very much with Marc in school. Thank you Marc for my perfect card and THANK YOU Avery for forcing me to slow down and see the world through your eyes and all the amazement it brings to you!!!!
