Happy New Year's!!!

Did you eat your black eyed peas for good luck??? Yeah, me either! I don't buy into that crap. Plus, I just don't need all the extra food right now. Thank goodness Court needed a partner in crime to gear up for her wedding b/c we are both doing NO CARBS for the next 3 weeks! It is always easier to have someone to do it w/ you so tonight I made turkey tacos (minus the tortilla) and ate some cauliflower mashed potatoes. Avery really liked those the best and kept eating all of mine. That's fine b/c I don't mind sharing! Also....we (as in the Hooper's) can finally say...MARC IS GRADUATING THIS YEAR!!!!! What does all of this mean??? It means that when he graduates, he can quit that gosh awful bartending job, start working a real job, be home more with Avery and me, and then start school all over again! YEAH! He really wants to work on his masters next while working and waiting to get into the Anestesist (??) program. We really do have a lot to look forward to this year: Courts nuptials, my brother and Sean & Jules are getting married, Baby Brooke & Baby William are coming soon, my Mom got a new job position that she is really excited about, my Dad is doing much better, Marc graduates, Trish & Greg are getting ready to move into their new home, and Avery is turning 2!! Thank you Amy & Shane for inviting us to your home on New Year's Eve! We had such a fun night hanging w/ you!!!! Happy 2008!!!
