This weekend was Glenn's (my step-Dad's) 60th birthday! We celebrated by all of his kids (plus my cousin Angie's family who are also claimed as Glenn's kids!!) showing up and surprising him by attending church. After that, we all went back to my Mom's house where we ate lunch and then watched him open gifts. We decided that since he was turning the big 6-0, we should celebrate by giving him 60 presents to unwrap. Some of these gifts were serious and some were plain 'ole gag gifts to help "support" him and make life easier in his elderly years. Some of these gift made him cry with happiness, and some made him cry in despair as he was so painfully reminded that he was getting older (thank you Philip!). Funny thing was that alot of the "funny" gifts that he got making fun of his geriatric years hit awfully close to home for me when I was pregnant!!! Come to find out it is just as hard being a pregnant women as it is being a "60" year old person! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLENN!!!!
