After the first night of antibiotics, Avery woke up to a much brighter morning. All of a sudden, the crud in her eyes from the night before went away. Her poor little eyes were still swollen and red but at least the nasty part was gone. We decided to venture out and go see her cousin, Dakoda, play in his football game. After having breakfast at "Abundance Cafe" (where Avery now knows that her Aunt Jen will give her a cookie!!!!), we made our way to Wolfe City where she conked out and my sister Carol (a.k.a - Aunt Cookie) decided to have a little fun with her. I thought it was "mean" but somehow found myself laughing and taking pics. She really acted as if she felt perfect and had even more fun playing with Micah who got to come home with us. Micah came over to our house for dinner but then went home with Nana which Avery was NOT happy about. She cried when he left but soon found console in her new Elmo house slippers thanks to her Papa!! Hopefully she will keep getting stronger b/c we are off to the pumpkin patch tomorrow and Micah's 4th b-day party where he and Avery will both get to wear their Halloween costumes!!
